ABOUT US

We welcome you all to the website of our educational institution Tapoban. Tapoban started its journey on 4th January 2004 as a small school with a vision that followed the ideologies of great philosophers of the world from Jean-Jacques Rousseau to Rabindranath Tagore.

We believe in imparting human values to our students by combining the best of traditional Indian teachings while using scientific methods of implementation. Our goal is to provide holistic education to the children with individual attention, guidance and affection and being a catalyst to their overall development.

 

Tapoban has been named symbolically as we strongly believe in the role of nature in a child’s education. In this modern human civilization with the lack of open spaces, forests and greenery, environmental consciousness has become a vital part of education. We encourage sustainability, environmental consciousness and social responsibility among our students.

Tapoban is an English based Bengali medium school. We welcome students from Toddlers to Class VIII.

We follow the school schedules of West Bengal Board of Secondary Education.
